Police detectives are one of the most prestigious jobs in law enforcement.
But there are plenty of professions that rely on other professions to fill their ranks.
This is especially true in modern-day America.
There are police officers, firefighters, security guards and other police services that rely heavily on the criminal justice system to provide for their services.
What does that leave us with?
This infographic gives an idea of the salaries paid to police officers across the country.
What are some of the biggest pay gaps between different professions?
There are plenty that are simply unavoidable.
These pay gaps are created when there is a lack of skills, experience or experience for the job.
And that can be problematic for police officers.
So what are the most egregious pay gaps?
One of the main reasons for the pay gap between police officers and the general population is that they tend to be older and less experienced.
Police officers can expect to earn $72,000 annually, compared to the average salary of $54,000 for the general public.
There is also the fact that some police officers earn more than the average police officer.
The average salary for a police officer is $68,000, but for the most part, police officers average $56,000.
That means that they are making $6,000 less per year than the general police.
What should you know about police pay?
As you might expect, there are some important issues to take into account when it comes to policing.
The vast majority of police officers are male.
And they are disproportionately black.
In fact, white police officers make up only 19.3% of the total U.S. police force.
But police officers tend to make more than half of all wage earners.
Police departments are not just funded through federal or state funding, and they often receive federal aid for their salaries.
It is also important to note that police officers may be paid less than their counterparts in other professions.
For example, police make an average of $20,000 a year, but a police chief can earn up to $1.3 million.
What do these pay gaps look like in your own profession?
The American Association of University Women has put together a report on police pay that breaks down the pay differences between different occupations and professions.
It also breaks down salary data for different types of jobs, such as law enforcement, corrections and firefighters.
